BENELUPO Dew Claw Protector

Protector to prevent dew claw injuries. So called „dew claw“ fulfills the function of a „thumb“ in dogs and in some cases it is very significant. Protector BENE LUPO was originally developed to protect active sighthounds on track. Injuries of dew claw can be cause also during games, sport activities (like agility, frisbee), during hunt. Dog gets stucked with the claw and tears the skin beneath open. These injuries are painful with high inflammation risk and the treatment is often complicated. BENE LUPO protector is made of soft fleece and elastic webbing. You can easily and quickly fix it at the paw with velcro. It does not limit the movement of the leg and does not constrict it.

BENELUPO protector can be used:

For stabilisation of wrist bones during sport with sudden stops and quick turns e.g. fetch games or agility.
As cover for infusion needle that is often ripped out by dogs.
To fix dressings.

BENE LUPO Protector is always supplied as pair!

Put on the protector so that the title BENELUPO can be easily read from front view. Velcro closures must be placed on the inside of the leg. Left protector is marked with a red stitch.
